Diffuser Care
Flip your reeds once a week.
When any diffuser is performing properly, 8 ounces of fragrance should last approximately three months. If the diffuser lasts longer than 3 months, it is likely that the reeds should be replaced. Rattan reeds are porous and have capillaries. This is how the perfume travels through the reeds and is then diffused when the air moves across the fragranced-infused reeds. Liquids can cause the rattan/wood to swell, clogging the capillaries which cause less fragrance to diffuse into the air. Consequently, you will have liquid remaining, but diminished fragrance diffusion. To continue to maximize the diffuser effectiveness, after the first six weeks of use, the initial set of reeds may need to be replaced.
